The Land Trust has hiking trails in Wayne. The Gott Pasture Preserve is on the Hardscrabble Road. It is an easy hike through the woods and along the water. We reccomend it in the fall.

Downtown Hallowell is about a 25 minute drive from Wayne but well worth the trip. There are many restaurants, shops, and bars with live music (every night!) and easy access to the Rail Trail.
