Easy place to pick up a delicious, rotisserie chicken on the 115. Get a whole chicken or a lunch plate w/ half a chicken and sides. I recommend the sausage and sweet potato if they have any left. Pro tip - get there before they sell out, usually closed up by 2pm each day.

Cheap and local breakfast spot in Aguada. Highly recommend visiting for breakfast and getting a fresh parch juice and any of the many omelette options available. They also have great coffee!

Puerto Rico 115This place is 4 doors down from the condo, an easy walk on the beach! Perfect for sunset but also perfect for a meal any day of the week. Try the coco mojito or the mahi mahi bites. They have a huge variety of seafood and boricuan dishes on the menu and everything is good!
A good pitstop in Aguadilla either on the way to the beach, shopping or when you're passing through to get to Aguada. The staff are so friendly and while they have the local sugary frappe's on board my favorite is an iced latte which you can load up to 4 espresso shots into. If you love coffee, I highly recommend Coffee Masters.

A local spot for local cocktails! No food served here, but a great spot to grab a professional mixed cocktail by the skilled owner and mixologist Christopher. Operating in what used to be his dad’s mechanic shop, it’s now a spot for oil changes during the day and drinks at night. A great addition to our Guayabo barrio!

Operating in what used to be his dad’s mechanic shop, it’s now a spot for oil changes during the day and drinks at night. A great addition to our Guayabo barrio!

The best beach in Western PR! The water is crystal clear, there is a great vibe during the week and a big party vibe on the weekend. Great snorkeling to the left (over a shipwreck) or see schools of fish in the reef if you head to the right. Jump off the end of the pier like a local. Get there early to park in the lower lot for free. On weekends, get there before 10am and snag a spot in the paid parking lot for $3.90 (cash only). Avoid parking on the street, they love to give out tickets.

A hidden gem you might miss if you're not looking. Beautiful still, clear water and one of the best beaches in Cabo Rojo. Bring a cooler w/ drinks and snacks, chairs and an umbrella. There is a bit of shade to be found under the trees, but it gets taken up fast on the weekend.
Entry through the campground or follow the road and walk to the end to reach the beach. Beach is located behind the Playa Buye Beach Resort and worth the drive.
Park in one of the free lots along the road in, or pay the man with the parking lot $5 to park a little closer. Avoid parking on the street, if you do, then make sure your tires are fully off the road and you are parked in the right direction.
If you're up for a day trip, head down to La Parguera in Lajas and get out to the Caracoles. These mangrove islands keep the water calm and clear. Rent a boat from Cancel boats or Johnny's boats (expect $125 half day/$175 full day) or if you aren't up for captaining your own boat, you can find a local to take you. There is also a ferry option that goes to Mata La Gata Cayo for $10 return, there is a large swimming area by the dock where you get dropped. Call them when you want to return.

Rent a boat from Cancel boats or Johnny's boats (expect $125 half day/$175 full day) or if you aren't up for captaining your own boat, you can find a local to take you. There is also a ferry option that goes to Mata La Gata Cayo for $10 return, there is a large swimming area by the dock where you get dropped. Call them when you want to return.

Jobos is a nice drive from the Aguada area out past the aguadilla airport. Great for beginner surfers, boogey boarding and bobbing in the water w/ a noodle. Small consistent waves, but a side area that is more like a swimming pool. You can take a walk to the other side of the rocks and see a blowhole and great views. A few bars & restaurants on the beach for drinks and snacks.
Watch out for sea urchins that hide in the rocks and the strong ripcurrent that comes and goes in the area.
Parking: Recommended to find a paid parking lot which is usually $5-10 for the day. If you park on the street, make sure your tires are all the way off the pavement and you are faced the right direction.
