Restaurant is right across the meadow. 5 min walk. Check for limited hours. FR bar is a local ranch that is famous for beef. The steaks are great and not too high when compared to other local places.

Amazing views. Food is expensive so its a nicer treat but to just go up for a drink on the deck is a must do.

Stop in Granby and get groceries there.
There is a city market right before Granby. There is a small market in Grand Lake but it has high prices and limited selections. It is great if you just need a few things. But if you plan to eat in you can save a lot by getting the majority of your groceries before you check in.

when coming to high altitude Colorado always bring layers the temperature swings can be a lot. Light jackets and hoodies are a must almost anytime of year. Don't forget pants or long sleeves even in summer and in winter bring snow gear.

Drink lots of water and use sunscreen.
In high altitude water evaporates from you skin way faster. Drink lots of water to stay hydrated and to avoid altitude sickness. Use high SPF sunscreen you are much close to the sun. Even on cloudy days.
