My "local" bar! Very chilled, laid-back bar.
Always a great range of craft beers which are constantly changing. The food is pretty good too, with specials on most nights of the week, such as $15 steak night, pizza night, trivia night, etc.

Only a 15 minute walk from my place - nature loves will spend hours wondering Melbourne's famous Royal Botanical Gardens. If you're a keen runner or walker, 'The Tan' is a famous track that runs around the perimeter of the gardens.

About 10 mins drive away, once you go to the Kew Boulevard you'd thing you were in the countryside hours out of Melbourne! Make sure you go down to one of the parks by the river to see the HUGE number of flying foxes that call the local area home.
There's also a lookout with an amazing panoramic view of the Melbourne Skyline
