Palafox Market is every Saturday-rain or shine. Aside from the beach, it’s one of my favorite events. There’s food, crafts, artwork, plants. A little bit of everything. It’s a good time.

There are several different bars and music here. They’re pretty famous for the dueling pianos. However-that’s just one part of the Quarter. There’s dancing and an outdoor bar. It’s a pretty unique place.

Places to Go
Pensacola is a beautiful city - yet not too big! Downtown on Palafox St there are several restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The Palafox Market is every Saturday. The beaches are beautiful and just a short drive from my house. In tourist season it’s best to go either early or later in the afternoon to avoid heavy traffic. There are several beaches to go to. Casino Beach is the main tourist beach. I would suggest going down Ft Pickens road instead. Just before you get to the entrance to Fort Pickens there is a very nice beach with covered picnic areas and shorter walk to the water.
