Water from the tap in Iceland is fresh and tasty. Just let it run for a bit to get cold.

Alcohol is not sold in stores

Regular stores can only sell non-alcoholic wine and beer. You have to go to special liquor stores, called Vinbudin, for wine and beer you want to take it home with you.
