Activities

Swimming at Nauthólsvík, where a hot spring flows into the ocean is more adventurous that a swimming pool but there are also hot-tubs and a changing area on the shore. It's possible to get there by following the bike path on the Reykjavik side of the valley to the left and over the walking bridge. Highly recommended.

If you take the path in the valley to the right and go over the walking bridge, you'll come to Elliðaárdalur. It's a nice place to explore. Follow the water upstream to find a small waterfall.
