The MarshWalk, located in the heart of the historic fishing village of Murrells Inlet is a half-mile wooden boardwalk along a natural saltwater estuary. Here is where you will find the most spectacular waterfront dining along the Grand Strand in a beautiful setting. Try Wicked Tuna, The Claw House or Wahoos for some great seafood. Honestly all the restaurants on the Marshwalk have amazing seafood. You can’t go wrong. You can also rent jet skis or go on a boat tour here.

A 16,000 acre research reserve, Hobcaw Barony is one of the few undeveloped tracts on the Waccamaw Neck. The Native Americans called it “hobcaw,” meaning between the waters. In 1718, the land became a colonial land grant known as a barony. Sold and subdivided into plantations, the land was used for rice production until the beginning of the 20th century. Take a discovery tour to get the most out of your visit.
