There are so many good eating spots on Commercial Drive it's almost obscene ;)
Everything here is within a very very short walk. We love all of the food spots listed. We will add more places but if you are looking for a particular kind of restaurant just let us know.

Get there early and avoid the lineup. Or go later, leave your name, and grab a beer at Biercraft on the Drive (a 3 minute walk away) while you wait for your table

NOT FOR VEGETARIANS. Great burgers, a yummy weekend brunch menu, and a dozen beers on tap, this place serves pub food well. Reasonably priced, and on Mondays you get a free shake with a burger and a side!

This place has much improved. Their menu has expanded and their pizzas are quite amazing. They also have some great salads and soups. Just about a block from where we live.

This new restaurant is right on the corner! If you like amazing pizza and pasta this is the place. Opened relatively recently and they have done a great job at creating some excellent dishes. We really like it!

This new Oyster place is our favourite and it's just a block away. Wonderful oysters and several other fantastic menu items if oysters are not for you. Happy hour is from 11 am to 5 pm every day of the week. Seriously good place!

This place is literally right at the corner of the block. We have to admit that we go there frequently for Happy Hour. Our favourite snack (along with a beer or glass of wine) is Cauliflower Wings. So good!!

Gorgeous views from the top of Grouse Mountain. Located on Vancouver's North Shore it's a great place to go on a clear day. If you want to experience a grueling hike do the Grouse Grind - a ridiculously challenging hike up the mountain. The good news is that you can take the gondola down for $10.

This is the best known market in Vancouver. It's beautiful place with beautiful fresh produce, cheese, fish and meat. You can take a water taxi to it if you happen to be strolling around the West End.

A small, tasty selection of snacks and a changing charcuterie plate, along with a funky gallery displaying local artists on site, and weekend visits from food trucks, make this one of my favourite of the breweries in the 'hood
