A cute, idyllic nature walk and splash in the brook! The best way to get there is to walk or drive down the driveway not too far to the first wide place in the road on the brook side, where there is a pile of sand. Here there is a small woods path leading off of the road towards the creek and back towards the house. This will lead down to an old saw mill site. This old road goes straight to the brook, where you should see the old saw mill foundation stone work if you look. There are also some other paths down to the brook but please take care and stay away from the steep areas so you do not slip!

The location on google maps is about an hour away from our house, and the hike can take as long as a day, depending how far you want to go. Adorable little bakery/restaurant (they carry more substantial food as well) right next to a playground, and the winooski river. Best to go before dusk brings out the mosquitoes! :)
