Remains of the Roman city are exhibited in the Museu d'HistĂČria de Barcelona. Artisans sell leather goods and rhinestones in the immediate vicinity of Barcelona Cathedral, and flower and food stalls crowd the busy Rambla. In the Plaza del Pi, named after the attached Gothic church, an art market is installed every weekend.

It is a comprehensive remodeling of a previously existing building on the site, the work of Emilio Sala CortĂ©s.
