A mountain walk all the family can achieve. Our youngest who is 9, loved it! The views from the top are stunning on a clear day and the sense of achievement reaching the peak is incredible. Definitely worth the effort. Put "slemish mountain car park" in your sat nav to get to base.

Everything is "wee"

As well as getting used to the "craic", the other important word is "wee". Regardless of the size/scale of anything, EVERYTHING is referred to as week... The "wee" bill at the restaurant The "wee" receipt in the shop A "wee" bag for your shopping Nothing is particularly small, its just a local way of connecting with each other. Embrace it and get involved in a wee chat with the locals :-)
