Worth the walk and the wait. Literally, the best bakery in San Francisco! I love their impeccable croissants, pastries - especially the poppy seed Kouign Aman, and they make a great latte too. It’s only a 15 min walk from the studio and there’s even a park across the street.

One of the best brunch spots in the city. I especially love their Benedict’s, Nicoise salad, and it has lovely a covered patio in the back. The have an hour wait sometimes, so book ahead and wait in the park until your table is ready.

This place has the best rotisserie chicken sandwiches and salads, there fried chicken is also made to order and a favorite of mine. They have some great small plates as well like roasted cauliflower with excellent dips.

Nature

I love hiking up to the top of Buena Vista Park for the panoramic views of the city, including the GG Bridge. You can take so many different trails to go up and down that it always feels new.

Built in 1879 this building is all old world class and one of my favorite places to enjoy lunch in front of. If you love flowers, then venture inside as well.

The Lands End trail that leads to this lookout has stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Marin Headlands, and Mt. Tam. You can even walk to the Sutro Baths and back for a 4 mile loop trail along the coast.
