The 8 is a fast bus that will take you to Fisherman's Wharf through downtown and China Town. The 9 and 9R (R is for rapid) go to the Cable Cars and the Ferry Building on the waterfront where you can shop, site see, and catch ferries. Pickup the 8 and 9 bus on San Bruno Ave. Catch the 29 on Mansell St. The KT Muni train is a short walk away, and will take you to the waterfront.
