Between the school and Lake Wingra there's a path that is really beautiful. It doesn't feel like you are in the city at all!

I mentioned the zoo, but at the park there's also skating. It's fun whether you want to play hockey or just figure skate. Park includes tennis courts and playgrounds too. Great place for a short walk.

When I want to take my bike to restaurants by the capitol, I like to take the bike path here. I drive along the lake and past the Monona Terrace. It's a great bike ride.

The Arboretum features many distinct ecological communities and several horticultural collections one where everything is labeled. In spring the trees are beautiful. Favorite place of mine all year.

I love this place. It has great atmosphere, good beer and good wine. Don't go here if you want a cocktail. The crowd is a nice mix of mostly older adults, 30 and up. The Frites are good. Very close!

It's like stepping back in time. Feels like an old soda fountain. Food is good and it's fun. The hours are unique, so be sure to see if it's open. Closed in the evening and on Mondays.

Great food, great atmosphere. My husband and I went to the bar here on one of our first dates. The bar has interesting tile work. From Madison on Madison, it's a long walk. We've done it!

This Kwik Trip is right across from Camp Randall Stadium. It's open 24/7. The ATM does not charge a fee! If you forgotten something and can't find it in the house, maybe they'll have it!
