Drinks & Nightlife

It is really close to the flat and will open until 4am, or even a little bit later. 2 floors with different music, sometimes there is a concert on the ground floor. Has a very nice outside terrace on the 2nd floor.

This is the pub that is the furthest away from the flat, but is an absolute must to visit. It will take you 30min walking via George St. . It has a large outside area with pool, and even a pizza truck (very tasty but quiet thin and not cheap). Think of it a little bit like the places on Londons Brick Lane. It does close early, I think around midnight or 01 am

To watch football games and other sports, this is the place. They have so many screens and again a large outside area with probably one of the largest screens in town. The outside area is shared with 2 other pubs that are worth visiting, the Fibbers (rock/alternative) and the Murrays (traditional irish dancing, music, etc..). Your pint will be slightly more expensive than usual, although fibbers is more like standard.

Has an amazing beer selection, with plenty of craft beers. You will not get a guiness here, but their own stout version. Good place to drink and talk, since they do not play music.

Parks & Nature

It is a long walk, but well worth when sunny. You need to access via irishtown, there is a path that starts at the end of "28-34 Beach Rd, Dublin". Do not go via the port! You can see the south bay of Dublin and a the tip you will see the large ferry boats going in and out of the city.
