One Stone Cafe has fantastic coffee, gluten free and vegan pastry options, breakfast, lunch, and wine! We frequent this establishment almost daily, and you should, too! The staff is friendly, there is free wifi, and there are pinball machines in the back room!

Congregation Coffee is steps from the ferry, and roasts their own coffee beans. They offer yummy sandwiches and pastries, and boudin on the weekends! Check them out before you hop on the ferry to explore the French Quarter.

They offer local trivia nights on Thursdays, and the occasional pop up restaurants outside of the bar on the weekends. A favorite local hangout!

Want to grab a drink in the neighborhood and listen to some live music? Head over to the Old Point Bar, they will have you covered Thursdays-Sundays. It's situated alongside the levee, so you can also take your drink to the river and watch the boats go by. This bar is another local favorite, very down to earth, and interesting fact, it is the most filmed bar in the city! Make sure you stop in for a drink while you're in town.

This pop up kitchen on Vallette is only open Thursdays - Sundays from 5 until he runs out of food. And the food is incredible, so he runs out! The crab cakes, omg. Make sure you stop in, you won't regret it.
