Greenpoint and Williamsburg have no shortage of bars. From dives to high end cocktail bars and everything in between. Here are the places I go.
Goldies!! It's literally next door to the apartment. The perfect place for a night cap after a day of exploring the city or catching a live show. It has a Vegas vibe, complete with velvet paintings of Dolly Parton and other timeless icons. Glittery gold table tops and bowls of free goldfish crackers to help absorb a nice array of draft beer options, cocktails and wines at a very affordable price. Pool table and an out door patio on the warmer days. You share a wall with this bar. So it's basically your home away from home... away from home.

Right on the edge of McCarren park this updated take on American comfort food boasts the best wedge salad I've ever had and an amazing burger. And when its served on red-checkered table clothes, what more could you ask for? I know, beers served in frosty steins!

Look across the street to your left and you'll see the entrance to McGolrick park. A huge historic park with Sunday Markets, a dog park, picnic tables and plenty of grass to lay out a blanket on. Bring over some snacks from Brooklyn Standard and take in some sun.
