Here is my list of favourite restaurants in the Southern Peninsula area - all within 15min to 30 min's drive. You don't have to go into the city to enjoy a good meal !

Feeling like a quick beer! I would go to here to quince the thirst. Guinness on tap or craft beer anyone ?
Good for a pint and 5mins drive - they do pizza, fish and chips and a nice fish barbecue with live music on Sunday lunch. Worth it if you don't want to drive too far. you can also walk to this one from the villa in less than 20 - 30 minutes.

Need a beer and a pint in the valley - this one do the both very well. Give their Guinness or craft beer a try !

Walks from the villa
For the more adventurous among you - put your sunscreen on take a hat and stroll from the villa to these locations.
Take a walk from the villa to the village of Kommetjie. It's a 30 minute walk. You will pass the famous Kommetjie Long Beach which is arguably the best surf spot in Cape Town. Kommetjie as a few small restaurants and pubs - drink a beer - eat some fish and walk back. This is a safe walk and you will meat a lot of locals on the way.

Cape point nature reserve. Take the vernacular to the top of the hill and a small walk to the most southern point on the peninsula. There is a restaurant with the best views over False bay you will find anywhere. Must do item in this area !
