One of my favourite Thai restaurants in Ottawa and only a 5 minute walk from the house. Eat in or take out, the food is all delicious, good portions and good prices. Relaxed, informal option for traditional Thai favourites like curries & noodle stir-fries. Past guests have really enjoyed Khao Thai!

One of our favourite local pubs/restaurants in Ottawa serving homemade french Canadian meals. It's a great place full of warm ambiance from morning (for brunch) to night. The burger and the fries are excellent. The clientele is very diverse from young people to oldies which is delightful.

Only a 5-6 minute walk from the house, you won't find other bakeries like this easily in North America. With most of the staff from France, and founded by a french expatriate, it is very much typical of a "boulangerie de quartier". Opens at 8:00am to 4:00pm. Beautiful bread and a wide of amazing pastries!

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area !! The owners are amazing and friendly people ! Janis and I have been several times and anything you order is delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Love the patio in the back during the warmer seasons!

Only 10 minute walk from the house. If you go hungry...you might be in trouble here! haha!

The food was delicious and came with filling portions. The Gong Bao chicken was great and could feed 2 people if you bought an appetizer. The calamari was among the best I have ever eaten along with the Black Cod Miso which was cooked so well. Atmosphere was great and I can see myself coming again to try other dishes and even try the same ones again.
