Excellent park - really worth seeing. Orana is an 'open range' zoo, and you'll know exactly what that means if you opt to jump in the cage for the lion encounter (per person $45).

At the top there's a cafe and the child-focused Time Tunnel ride, which recounts the history of the area. You can also walk to Cavendish Bluff Lookout (30 minutes return).
