Great place to visit! Swimming during the summer. Canoe rentals. Book a river site seeing cruise. There is also a fun little restaurant, The Sugar Mill, on site (arrive early as it books up fast). Hiking trails as well!

Hontoon Island is a state park. It is very close to the Airbnb. They provide a ferry to get to and from the island. There is no swimming, but hiking trails, picnic tables, fishing, and canoe and kayak rentals.

Great place to walk trails and really get into the “real Florida” scenery. Do know you will see wildlife. I do go on walks with my own children, but always bring another adult with me and keep my littles close! I always have lots of great photos when I go!
