Los Gatos is one of Santa Clara County’s oldest and charming communities. It has a small town feel with a cute town square right off the “first exit” from 17. It's nestled up against the Santa Cruz Mountains to give it a cozy feel. The restaurants are really the main attraction. A few high end recommendations: Nick's Next Door, Forbes Mill Steakhouse, & Dio Deka. Family dining: Double D's Sports Bar, Oak & Rye Pizza, Andele' Mexican, and Loma Brew Pub. Breakfast: There are 2 fabulous spots - Los Gatos Cafe & Southern Kitchen. Old pubs: Carrie Nations & the Black Watch. Every Sunday there is a Farmers Market from 8am to 1pm. Make sure to stop by Los Gatos Coffee Roasters and get a coffee, then go hike the back side of the Santa Cruz creek trail. Finally a great spot we love is Testarossa Winery located at the historic Novitiate Winery in downtown Los Gatos. "It is both a state-of-the-art working winery and a truly dramatic setting for visitors. The old stone cellars and beautiful grounds of the state’s fourth oldest continuously operating winery house the tasting room and Wine Bar 107, and provide an amazing venue."

“Exceptional” “designer pizzas” with “unique” topping combos are the signature of this “casual” Los Gatos parlor, where “attentive” servers also supply “excellent” New American small plates and “strong cocktails”; a front patio and “quirky” touches like a “penny-covered” wood oven help set the scene for “a good time.” The owner Ross is a bad -a$$!!
