Another green place with a beautiful view. We have four mounds in Krakow, but I think that the Krakus Mound is the most beautiful. It is quite easy to get there and you can combine this tour with visiting Podgórze. Next to it is another attraction - the Lebanon Quarry.

TYNIEC - formerly an independent village, today it is part of the city of Krakow (on the right bank of the Vistula, in the Dębniki district about 12 km southwest of the center of Krakow). It is known primarily from the fortified Benedictine Abbey, beautifully situated on the limestone rock on the Vistula, which is one of the most valuable religious monuments in Poland. Due to natural values, Tyniec was within the Bielańsko Tyniec Landscape Park with the Skołczanka steppe reserve and the Podgórki floral reserve. In a short distance from Tyniec you can see the bend of the Vistula oxbow lake and the monument of nature Świętojańskie Source.

WIELICZKA - located 13 km east of Krakow and is known to everyone as the UNESCO Salt Mine. The oldest salt company in Poland is open to tourists who have the opportunity to feel the amazing atmosphere of the mine with the only and unique underground chapel of Saint Kinga with magnificent chandeliers and salt sculptures traversing underground excavations, corridors and chambers. On the surface, however, you can visit the Saltworks Castle (the only defensive residence in Europe, which was the seat of the administrative and economic authorities, not the ruling one), where the mine management had been in office since the Middle Ages, and today the Krakow Saltworks Museum operates there. Recently, a suburban high-speed train, part of the modern agglomeration rail system, travels to the town

NIEPOŁOMICE - a city that is located about 25 km east of the center of Krakow. The biggest tourist attraction is the 14th century castle built by King Casimir the Great, who was called the "second Wawel" and the Gothic parish church. Ten Thousand Martyrs. Today, the castle does not look like it did in medieval times (it was rebuilt several times) and within it is a luxury hotel.

Food scene

Casseroles from Kazimierz (New Square) As for sausages, the famous casseroles cannot be missed. Apparently the best at Endzior, but personally I think that they taste the same from every window. Because what can be special in a piece of bread roll with mushrooms? With the rest, for me there is no crazy and instead of casseroles, I prefer a sausage from a nearby grill. It adds to the list, because it's a cult place and it's worth a try. If only to have your own opinion.

Blue Nyska Sausages (Hala Targowa) Classic. The symbol of Krakow, which appeared in the film "Angel in Krakow". From 20:00 until late at night in blue Nysa near the market hall you can buy grilled sausage and drink a good old soda in a bottle. There are long queues there every day.
