One of the best restaurants in Charlottesville with delicious food and a large selection of wine. the owner is the top chef here and ensures the outstanding quality. it is a short walk from my bnb 1 1/2 blocks. they don't take reservations so hang out at their popular bar with signature cocktails while you wait.

The Local has something everyone will like and they always do. The food and service is excellent. they also have a good wine list. they do take reservations which recommend even during the week because of the popularity of this favorite restaurant. It is just down the street, 1 and 1/2 blocks from my bnb

Mas is a truly great tapas restaurant with z huge selection and particularly fun in nice weather since they have a large popular outdoor seating area. But the bar inside is nice too since you can watch all the many specialties being prepared. i get a small pitcher of their delicious sangria and several tapas. yum! Mas is only 2 blocks from the bnb down Monticello Road.

Sightseeing
Go on the house tour, the slave tour, or the garden tour, they are all enlightening and entertaining. the rates are reasonable and it's a short 10 minute drive or uber ride.
