Try to avoid to eat in restaurants in the main squares. Food can be of bad quality and very expensive if the restaurant is very touristic like on main streets and squares. When taking either a bus or a metro watch your begs and never put anything of value in your pockets and on your back.

Always make a reservation if you are interested in Museums Especially the Vatican Museums and the Colosseum in high season.

Especially in St Peter's in summer time, you are not allowed to wear shorts and have your shoulders naked. Always bring something to cover them
