Food Scene
Just a few miles down the road from our house, is the Liberty Winery. Go in and sample the different wines and pick out a bottle of your favorite. They have a nice seating area around a bar with a knowledgable somalier to guide you to your new favorite New York State Vintage. They have some nice cheeses available for sale too.
Taste several different New York State Vintages in a winery where you can sit down at the bar and talk with an expert. Five wines for two dollars, last time I visited. Buy a bottle of your favorite for yourself or a gift.

I will often see fishermen along the lake. There are a few places you can get into the creek and walk up the creek. It's a beautiful hike with many photo opportunities. Make sure you have on your water shoes, there are spots where you will be walking in the creek.
