Sightseeing
This used to be a local beach where not a lot of people know about. Most people go to Stinson Beach from out of town. Due to covid, this place becomes more and more popular so my advice is to avoid going there during the weekend. It is very close to the house so it's doable for a couple hrs beach time during the week day. There is very little reception down there. You can also hike down to the beach via Dias Ridge trail which is accessible through the homestead fire trail right next to the house.

If you are into cycling, I highly recommend you bike up to this spot from the house. Weekend traffic is much more heavier. If you are a hiker, I recommend the short but steep hike up to the peak from the fire department. You might still get a beautiful view up there even if its foggy. We just love this little gem in the valley so if you are new in town, def. check out this place. The farm is amazing down there. They often offer medication classes too. We haven't been there since covid hits so check on their website for availability and safety rules.

Don't take shortline/101 if you want to drive to this beach from the house. Take panoramic - pantoll - stinson - it's less windy and a local short cut. Much bigger and more touristy than Muir Beach. Oftentimes have better weather/sun too.

From the house, takes about 1.5-2hrs to hike there via Miwok trails/Coyote Ridge. Last bit is steep scrambling down to the cove from the main trail so be extra careful. It can be a very private and romantic spot! :)

This has become our fav spot to hang out during covid days. You can meet up with people or take a beer break from the hikes in their lawn area. Can get crowded during weekend.

We highly recommend a day trip to Jenner. Do the Sea to Sky trails. Views of ocean and the Russian River.

Beautiful coastal town. Easy access for boat rides. We think the best sushi place in marin is Sushi Ren in Sausalito. Can be touristy during the weekends.

Good Earth
The closest grocery store to the house is Good Earth. Most things there are more expensive than Wholefoods, Safeway, etc. except for the deli area. We love the sandwiches and hot plates there. They do not accept N95 masks btw.

Public transportation is only available in town. House is 30min hill walking from town/tam high school.
