We love this local breakfast/lunch/brunch place. The Eggs Benedict at Clementine are to die for and the service is unsurpassed. You have to be there before 10 am on a Sunday though or you won’t get a table or you will have a lengthy wait. Enjoy!

The Gates restaurant is a bit of a drive from our guest house, but well worth it. The country house setting and the food is really really great. Especially their Sunday brunch buffet. We take my Mom out there every Mother’s Day even if we have to book months in advance.

We love this restaurant because it is nice and close to our guest house and super fun to dine at. The owner often warmly greats our guests going to his restaurant personally. The food portions are huge and I think they make their own bread and jam. This is a neighbourhood favourite.

This is a great restaurant but also an amazing store full of unique treasures. One of my favourite drives out in the country and beautiful grounds to stroll around on. It’s about 30 minutes away from our guest house but a wonderful experience to take in.

The best high end steak house in Winnipeg is walking distance to our guest house. We go there every New Year’s Eve as a special treat to celebrate another year. We work hard all year so we figure there is no harm in taking one evening to order whatever we like and enjoy the fruits of our labour. We highly recommend the “mini-yorkies”. Maybe one day we will be able to go quarterly instead of annually! An excellent place to celebrate a special event.
