Amazing breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. A small menu all freshly cooked. Very busy at the weekends so book first. They run from morning through to 2am and is a great place to hang out with no pressure and conversation-level music. Excellent cocktail bar too, you don't have to have a meal, just spend time at the bar if you like. Very chilled, very popular.

People come from all around for Kennedy's take away fish and chips. The fast-moving queue is along the street at the weekends. Fresh, big portions, that's why this family business

This is our regular Indian haunt. Simple, traditional curry restaurant with extensive menu plus Sunday buffet from noon to 5pm. Eat in quick and cheap or take your time and explore the menu. Their takeaways are good value but you can wait over an hour for delivery as they're so busy. Best to pop over and collect.

There are only 5 ice rinks in London and this one at Streatham Ice & Leisure Centre is a full size 60x30m ice pad with just under 1000 seats.
There are two pools in the centre, a 25 metres long fitness pool, with six lanes and a 13 metres long teaching pool. The leisure centre and facilities were rebuilt completely new in 2011.

This pub dates from the 1830s when it was a coach stop. It retains many traditional features of its history and the external Truman signage. It is now part of the giant Wetherspoons chain which serves real ales and a big menu of budget British food. Wetherspoons is known for its consistent quality and very cheap prices. A sort of McDonalds of the pub world. Wetherspoons staff are notoriously young, inexperienced and badly paid so factor that in to your trip.... (Its almost a rite of passage for British youth to do their time at Wetherspoons) but don't let that stop you because it is adequately compensated for in the cheap prices.
