Local Hikes
5 mile roundtrip, moderate hike.
Look to the west while in Fort Collins and you'll see a big rock that looks like a horses tooth. It's a great hike with nice views of horsetooth reservoir and the city of Fort Collins while hiking. There's a small scramble at the top that is worth the view. Bring a lunch or snack for the top!
There is a pavilion and bathrooms at the parking lot.

Horsetooth Mountain Open Space
6550 West County Road 38 East5 mile roundtrip, moderate hike.
Look to the west while in Fort Collins and you'll see a big rock that looks like a horses tooth. It's a great hike with nice views of horsetooth reservoir and the city of Fort Collins while hiking. There's a small scramble at the top that is worth the view. Bring a lunch or snack for the top!
There is a pavilion and bathrooms at the parking lot.
There are lots of great trails here. Arthurs Rock is the most notable as you'll have a great view of Fort Collins and it's a wonderful hike.

Yes, you can bring your whole family to the brewery! Our local breweries are very family friendly and they will always have non-alcoholic drinks your kids will enjoy!
Not a beer drinker? Maybe you just haven't had the right one yet! All the breweries have taster trays so you can try to find one you like.
Odell is our favorite brewery in town. It has the best beer, has an awesome patio, and they almost always have a great food truck available!
