We love this hike and take it often with our kids and dog. There’s a steep set of stairs that take you down the the water, where you can walk along the lower Niagara. It’s really beautiful.

It’s so cool to be able to walk along the edge of the river and see the rapids. Be careful though, especially if you take your dog. You can wade in and it’s deceivingly calm but the current is strong!
