Foodie Spots
Try their Queso( pronounced Kay-soh). It’s a heavenly melted cheese that you eat with chips. Queso means cheese in Spanish. You will find it everywhere but Torchy’s has the best. For breakfast Migas tacos are pretty amazing and for any other time the chicken fajitas or fried avocado is always a hit.

Biergarten. Family and pet friendly. The one in East Austin is more hipster and 20 year olds and the one on south Lamar is more low key ( you will see families there, we have taken our kids to that one).

The sixth street closest to IH 35 is referred to as “dirty sixth,” by the locals because its full of recently turned 21 year olds living their best life. If you cross over to the other side of Congress near the W hotel then you’ll find a more mature crowd with pricier drinks. Both are great depending on what you want to experience.

I love seeing the quote along films here. Don’t watch anything new, but definitely check out the sing-a-long events. They are really quirky! The one downtown is probably the most creative.

Nanny for Date Nights!
I have two nanny options for guests while you are here. Both of these people have been working with children as a nanny or in a daycare setting for over 10 years. Please let me know if you would like to set this up and I will reach out to them to see if they are available.
Rate is $25/hr for 1-2 kids with a minimum of two hours( max 4 kids).
Each additional child after 2 is add an extra $10/hr per child.
