And the kids' area is fantastic - there are areas to hang out and enjoy a snack while reading books, and the daily storytimes are a favorite for locals and tourists alike. Also, the library is right on the Yampa River and it's pedestrian "core trail" that goes all the way through the city, and it's right across the street from two parks and several natural mineral pools. In the spring you can catch kayakers doing flips on the rapids, and in the summer, the river banks are a popular place to lounge and socialize.
