Today, the palace stuns it's visitors thanks to it's recognisable gothic style and inner wealth such as Rector's bedroom, notary room, Republic's costumes, carriage left overs, pottery, pharmaceutical utensils and many more.

Above the entrance stands an inscription in latin translated as „Freedom is not to be sold for all the treasures in the world.“ Besides being a historical monument, this fort is also known to host various theatrical performances such as Shakespeare's Hamlet.
