The Cocina (when they're cooking) is the best place for authentic NM fare, a little (lot) greasy, but super delicioso made by hand empañadas, tamales, tacos, burritos, featuring local meat preparations, and a convenience store with lots of basics to round it out. Bar next door. This is Arroyo Seco.

This is a wonderful place to unwind, intimate dinner for two or family meals are both right at home in this spot. Package liquor and full bar, huge outdoor tree shaded patio for summer dining, and a great robust American and New Mexican menu make this a good overall experience.

Sol Market and Cafe has a great full service grocery and prepared foods without the hassle of driving to Taos. Great for a full shop, or to fill in the gaps.
The cafe side is great for a salad, sandwich or solid breakfast/brunch.

This is THE bar. They have a real old school northern NM vibe because they're the real deal Arroyo Seco family. Abe Garcia's been tending bar for over 50 years. Not a craft brewery, a bar. Their patio out back is awesome in summer and fall and they make a mean Margarita.
