This is a restaurant that serves Loatian American comfort food. The food is outstanding and fairly priced. The sell out of egg rolls frequently. Bahn Mi and Hot Noodz are favorites. Porke Bowl is great too. Online ordering for takeout is great. Its a busy place.

This is a great cafe and upscale small grocery/convenience store. Great coffee, breakfast bakery items, and lunches with limited rotating dinner specials. We love the breakfast burrito and cinnamon rolls. Good beer and wine selection. Friendly staff. Our canoe is docked at the Local Hub on the left side of the building.

Great, old fashioned country store. Baked goods and pot pies are very good. Fun place to stop if you are driving by.

Outdoor Exploring
You can take our canoe, which is docked at The Local Hub store, and paddle to North Pond. We love to stop at the swimming rock to jump into the lake. GPS:

Great swimming hole with fun cliff jumping. It can get very busy but there are quieter swimming spots just upstream.

In the summer, the bike park is a blast and it's fun to hike up the mountain. They have live music most weekend afternoons-evenings at the westside beer garden. Prices are fair. Atmosphere is fun. Pizza is our favorite in an area with not much good pizza ;) Fun ski mountain in the winter. Great apre ski at Loose Boots Lounge.

Great place to stop for cold, mountain spring water.
Drive just past Maggie's Nature Park and Greenwood town beach is on the opposite side of the road. This is a fun swimming spot. We usually bring floats. The water is crystal clear.

We are not big museum goers but this museum is very well done. It made Maine's geology interesting and we got to hold a chunk of the moon. ;) Check out the gift shop, at a minimum.

Good shop for winter and summer sporting gear. They rent kayaks etc for delivery to South Pond beach or the Androscoggin river.
