Best RIBS EVER! I order the fried chicken every time I goes. For first time visitors I would recommend you ordering their ribs. This place is a must try. In fact it is so popular and delicious that sometimes I have to wait over 45 minutes just get a table. (still worth the wait tho)

I LOVE this place. It's the perfect restaurant for desert hip vibe dining. It is also the place for a PERFECT date. Make sure you eat there for dinner! Most nights they have live music too which is just... absolutely beautiful. Remember, MAKE SURE you ask for an outdoor spot AND go after dark!!

Sam's Indian Food & Pizza is a MUST TRY! Their Shrimp tandoori (shrimp on a hot iron plate) and Chicken Makhani (butter chicken) are MUST orders for me. Occasionally I also order their hot wings and fried batter mushrooms. Which are ALL SO VERY DELICIOUS.
One time, I drove a little too fast because I was so excited to pick up my food from Sam's. I did not know a Desert police was chasing me until I was about to turn right into the restaurant. I got a speeding ticket that night and but it was STILL worth the drive!

This is just a huge rock in the middle of nowhere. Still cool to see though. The dirt road is bumpy, so taking an appropriate vehicle is important!

Say no more. JUST GO.
This is an easy to moderate trial with a decent grade. It is a short hike at only 1.3 miles. Make sure you wear shoes with decent grip as the sand can get slippery. The views from the top are astounding!

What is now known as Joshua Tree National Park was designated as a national monument in 1936. Twentynine Palms is also the home of the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (the largest military base in the country) and the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians. So much history to explore here in this desert community

And don't forget to stop by the Pioneertown Post Office, one of the most photographed post offices in the country.
