Seward Park is five minutes away by car and twenty minutes away on foot. This park has a network of trails among old growth forests, and Audubon center store and educational site, and spectacular views of Lake Washington and Mt. Rainier. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite hikes in the city is Discovery Park. The trail is lush with trees and vegetation and spectacular views of Puget Sound. At the bottom of the trail is a beach and a lighthouse. Highly recommended!
