A hike with an incredible view looking out over the bay and San Juan Islands. It is a 5mile round trip if you drive up Blanchard Mountain rather than accessing the trail from Chuckanut Drive which then has a lot of switch backs.

Oyster Dome Trailhead
Pacific Northwest TrailA hike with an incredible view looking out over the bay and San Juan Islands. It is a 5mile round trip if you drive up Blanchard Mountain rather than accessing the trail from Chuckanut Drive which then has a lot of switch backs.
One of my favorite quick hikes to a lake - about 1 hour 30 min round trip. Some steep switch backs that give you a taste of the Chuckanuts, plus sneaky views of the San Juan Islands. The Lake is a perfect place to cool off on a summers day, or after the hike....with two great access points, one where you can wade in or one where you can jump of a huge fallen down tree. The kids will love it!

The Lake is a perfect place to cool off on a summers day, or after the hike....with two great access points, one where you can wade in or one where you can jump of a huge fallen down tree. The kids will love it!

There are more trails to access behind the lake and near the dog park. Feel free to ask how to get to Padden by just accessing the Greenway Trails from the Brewery - a great bike ride, or longer run!
About a 15-20min drive from the brewery. A beautiful spot to swim, jump off the dock, with a small jungle gym for the little ones, and a rope swing along the trail for the big ones. Great place to spend a day or afternoon. Water quality is much better than Lake Padden.
