The beach is bounded by a pedestrian promenade and an extensive dune system hosting the world famous Royal Portrush Golf Course. There are excellent views of The Skerries and the Causeway headlands.

This is a perfect beach for swimming, surfing, paddle boarding, kite surfing, wind surfing, diving and well as for walking, horse riding, jogging, cycling, playing, paddling or purely relaxing!
Taking a walk along this gorgeous in town beach from harbour to rocks gives many different experiences. Start your walk from the harbour to capture some of that famous vibrant Portrush atmosphere. (There are a few pubs and restaurants in this area that are well frequented!)
