San Diego is blessed to have Tim Cantor as one of it's residents, one of the greatest living surrealism artists alive today. We are even more blessed to have his only gallery outside of Amersterdam. Perhaps you've seen his work because he has done the album artwork for Imagine Dragons. We highly recommend his Art gallery, in the Gaslamp Quarter, and while you're out have a tequila and appetizer at the Juan Tequila bar next door.

A stroll on Sail Bay (right near Mission Beach) is wonderful. You can rent boats, join the joggers, rent a bike or a boat, sunbathe, or rollerblade. There is a park for kids as well.

This is kind of an "of course" you have to go to the Gaslamp Quarter for a night, because it's San Diego's most vibrant street. Restaurants, clubs, shops and bars! Fantastic. The Gaslamp Quarter certainly is a contender for one of the best downtown streets in America.
