It has been in business since 1947, when it was founded by Grand Ole Opry star, Ernest Tubb. Visit the one-stop shop to browse or purchase country, bluegrass, and gospel music, records, and memorabilia. The shop in historic downtown Nashville also offers works by contemporary and classic artists.
For the Kids
Need some fun things to do with the kids? We are locals who raised our kids here in Nashville. They are now teenagers, but I'll share some of the places they loved most as they grew up!
Cumberland Park is a short walk from the townhouse and across the pedestrian bridge. We loved bringing our kids here in the summer months when they were younger. It’s free, and there’s a great splash pad. You’ve also got a great view of the city as your kids play. They’ve even got snow cones (for sale)!

Some of our best exhibits include tigers, giraffes, kangaroos, clouded leopards, zebras, ostriches, flamingos, and rhinos. There's also an original farmhouse you can tour, Grassmere. The last owners of the land, two sisters, left the land to the city of Nashville with the stipulation that the city use the land to teach others about animals and nature.
