One of the beast beaches in Helsinki! And the only one around the city center. My absolute favorite. I take every morning a swim there. It is really close 10 minutes walk away from my place.
There is a restaurant and coffee shop also. Showers, toilets and dressing room and a locker where you can leave your stuff for free.

This is my personal paradise island in Helsinki. Whenever I feel I need to go near nature I walk, run or take a bike to Seurasaari. It is a little island near Meilahti. There is forest, beach and rocks where you can lay down and just enjoy the calmness.
There is a beautiful restaurant in the heart of Seurasaari and an open air museum where you will see how people in Finland used to live. Highly recommend if you are interested in history.
It is very special to have this kind of island in the capital, accessible for everyone and by foot.
