Old time Hardware Store - Independently owned and operated
Family owned and operated old fashioned hardware store since 1946. Located on the Appalachian Trail and built by owner Keith Gentry's grandfather and father with rock from just over the state line in Tennessee. Hardware floors, glass windows and old doors are from the Dorland School dormatories and date back to the early 1900's!
Gentry's is amazing! They truly have a little bit of everything here, from bolts to banjo strings!

Bluff Mountain is one of the highest peaks in Madison County, and the Appalachian Trail crosses it's summit. In 1997 a coalition of groups came together to save Bluff Mountain from a massive timber project.
