This market will make you want to live in Montreal. stocked with great fresh, seasonal produce and plant vendors. It's really fun to walk around and visit other vendors that sold things you can enjoy as a visitor. Don't miss the gem of the excellent bookstore tucked away in the market. They have a great selection of cookery books. Check out the businessesthat wrap around the market as well, you will find delicious Italian cookies from a fruit store across the street and some Middle Eastern spices from a Tunisian market that had pottery and baskets displayed in front.

Geared to both adults and children this will prove to be a fun and educational experience for individuals or entire families. The Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium is the new and modern replacement for the former Montreal Planetarium which opened in 1966 and operated until 2011. Using the latest in technology, the planetarium will have you feeling like you are literally lifting off into space as you embark on a journey into the solar system and beyond.  This new planetarium actually features twin theatres and your ticket gets you into both shows. There are showtimes throughout the day in both French and English. Check the schedule on the official website linked above to see what time shows are playing in your preferred language. While the shows will likely be the highlight of your visit, there is much more to see, with many interactive exhibits and displays including a complete exhibit on meteors.

This boutique owned by our old friend local artist, impressive choice of t-shirts with typical Montréal prints, in addition to other t-shirts bearingthe image of various philosophers and writers. The t-shirts are made in the United States and are printed in Montreal. A very good value for money!
