En pleno corazón de Barranco se encuentra el Puente de los Suspiros, un tradicional puente de madera envuelto en un aire de romanticismo, por haber sido el sitio que dio inicio a incontables relaciones amorosas en Lima.
La historia tambien cuenta que a quien atraviese el puente aguantando la respiración, se le cumplirá el deseo que pida.

Antiguamente era una pequeña quebrada. Lugar por donde bajaban los pescadores hacia las playas de Barranco. Con el paso del tiempo, la Bajada estuvo cultivada de olivos y árboles de sauces que posteriormente fueron cambiados por ficus. Es un pintoresco vecindario de tradicionales casonas barranquinas. Actualmente, se puede apreciar el esplendor de esos árboles. Las buganvillas, enredaderas con flores de color fucsia adornan el camino. Los Putti.- Ubicados sobre dos pedestales de mármol, muestran 3 angelitos con túnicas y el cuerpo a medio cubrir. Los originales se encuentran en los jardines del museo del Vaticano.

Ayahuasca is a restobar located in the Berninzon Mansion; a Barranquina mansion from the Republican era, built between 1875 and 1895.
The premises opened its doors on July 17, 2008 and since then it has established itself as a very attractive proposal due to its originality and charm.
At Ayahuasca we have created a welcoming environment that breaks the routine, recognized as a benchmark of our cultural identity. It is a mirror of our city where we all meet.
