Our house is located in South Kingstown. This includes a large area from the University of Rhode Island to the north all the way down to the ocean in the south with the heart of the town in the Village of Wakefield. Our house is a beautiful five minute walk to main street past lovely quiet neighborhoods. There is also historic village of Peace Dale just to the north of Wakefield where you can find Whalers Brewery, Sweet Cakes and the Library.

It is the sailing capital of America that combines the Cottages (aka mansions) of the early 1900s with breathtaking views of the ocean along the Cliff Walk trail. So much to do here.

This is a working waterfront with major fishing boats mixed in with the Block Island Ferry, charter fishing boats, restaurants and beaches - oh my! George's and Champlin's are two restaurants on the waterfront near the beach. George's has a nice Tiki bar on the beach open day and night.

Also if you south around the hospital you get to the waterfront on the northern end of Point Judith Pond (bay) which has Two Ten Oyster Bar and Java Madness Coffee Shop. Two nice places to enjoy watching the boats. You can also launch your kayak/Sup from this area. Again walkable from the house.
