Arbroath is about 20 minutes from the house and is flattish seaside links just south of the town.

Carnoustie is a world famous golf facility that is about 35 minutes from the house. Carnoustie has hosted many major tournaments, including the Open Championship, AIG Women's Open and the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
