After that, you stand in line...a really, really long line. It's a right of passage and you can have your partner hold your place while you walk down to Fido for a couple cups of delicious coffee to keep you company while you wait.

When we first lived in Nashville, we lived on Belmont Blvd. We loved it for its quaint charm, great eateries and access to shopping, the Parthenon and Vanderbilt University. If you want to try the historic Pancake Pantry, get up early or stand in line. So worth it!

When we first lived in Nashville, we lived on Belmont Blvd. We loved it for its quaint charm, great eateries and access to shopping, the Parthenon and Vanderbilt University. If you want to try the historic Pancake Pantry, get up early or stand in line. So worth it!
This is where Nashville quarantined its Hipsters. It's a fun area with a lot of great people and a laid back, creative neighborly feel. We usually ride our bikes there on the trail, but you can drive in 15 minutes. If it wasn't for the Cumberland River, it would be a walk.

One of the first things we look for when we move to a new area or travel is a SUP/Kayak shop. NPC is located on the banks of Percy Preist Lake and a short 10 minute drive from Donelson.

Just a couple of miles away, down McGavock. If Fluffy needs to stretch her legs, this is the place. Water is provided, but waste bags are touch and go so bring your own.

Very close, offers golf, a skate park and E-Bike rentals. If you love to bike, you can get to East Nashville, Nashville or Percy Priest Damn on the Nashville bike trail. The trails are serene but can be a little crowded at times. We use the trails often and really enjoy the access to city and East Nashville. The ride to Percy Priest Dam is nice, but when you arrive it's pretty much such a big wall holding back water.

The Country Music Hall of Fame is a must see if you're visiting Nashville for the first time. Leave yourself a few hours and plan on stopping by Hatch Show Print on your way out.

We're card carrying members of the Nashville Zoo. It can be crowded (and hot!) during the summer so we recommend getting there early in the day. Spring, Fall and Winter are our favorite times to go see an impressive selection of animals and exhibits.
